Amijami - Wok & Rice and more
The AmiJami website project aimed to create a seamless online experience for ordering sushi and other Japanese cuisine from the AmiJami restaurants in Tallinn.
About the project
Problem
The primary problem was the outdated and inefficient online ordering system that struggled to handle a growing number of users and diverse menu options, leading to user frustration and lost sales.
Solution
Our solution was to design and implement a modern, responsive website that provides an intuitive and visually appealing interface for customers. Key features include a comprehensive and easily navigable menu categorized by item types, such as sushi, poke bowls, and hot dishes, each with detailed descriptions and prices. The site supports multiple languages (Estonian, English, and Russian) to cater to a diverse customer base and integrates seamlessly with social media platforms for enhanced customer engagement. Additionally, we implemented a robust cart and checkout system with clear instructions and minimum order requirements, improving the overall user experience and operational efficiency.

Mobile First Adaptive
For the AmiJami project, we implemented a Mobile First adaptive design approach, ensuring the website is fully optimized for mobile devices. This strategy prioritized the mobile user experience by designing for smaller screens first and then progressively enhancing the site for larger screens, resulting in a seamless and efficient browsing experience across all devices.
